What
happens after I place my order ?

So you have placed your order and now
want to know when it will be delivered. Let us explain the process
after you press "Submit" button to place your order.

The order is assigned an order reference number which is then used to track your
order within our business systems and the delivery process.
-
An email is sent to your email address
confirming the details of the order, including the order reference number
mentioned above. The email includes full details of how to track the
progress of your order using our on-line order tracking system.
-
A final inventory check is completed
to ensure we have the items in stock. Our on-line order tracking
is updated - including an
estimated delivery date if necessary.

Your credit card details are verified
with the credit card company. A status of the verification is
given on the on-line order tracking system.

We will complete all of the above
steps within two business hours after receipt of your order.

| A
few days have passed and there's no sign of my order ... what's happened ? |

Ouch ! We don't expect this
to happen. We have a policy of not publishing items on the web
site that we do not have in stock or are not immediately available from our
suppliers - so we should have processed your order in
line with the above. There are a few reasons
why the order may be delayed.

Due to the speed of the internet we
may be out of stock of the item you requested before updating the web
page. If this is the case you should see this detailed on
our on-line order tracking system.

Your credit card information may be
invalid - you will be sent a separate email (in addition to the confirmation email perhaps several hours after) asking you to
contact us to verify the details.

There are of course some reasons
associated with the shipping process that may be the problem:

The order may be slightly late
and it is in transit to you as you are looking here - arriving in just
a few hours, or
-
the shipping company may have
tried to deliver to your house but no one was there to accept
delivery, and it has been returned to the depot, or
-
the order may have been miss
delivered by the shipping company (don't worry we have a closed
loop process with the shipping company to alleviate this situation
almost completely), or
-
in the worst case the order may
have been lost in transit.

the latest possible shipping information on our systems, and also available
to you via this web page. Check now ?

| Can I trace the
status of my order ? |

There may be many reasons why you want to
see where your order is in the shipping process. You may be concerned because it
is late, or just curious to see its
progress as a matter of interest. For this reason when
we send you a confirmation email we include an order reference
number. You can use this number now to see the current
state of your order.
After you enter the order reference
number in the box below, you can expect to see a
report similar to the example immediately below detailing the current status of
the order. If you are still concerned then please do not
hesitate to email us, detailing your concerns and quoting your order
reference number at: order-progress@signetmusic.com
